- Move the substrate concentration [S] slider.
- Change Km and kcat.
- Add an inhibitor (competitive, uncompetitive, non-competitive or mixed) and set [I].
- Press “Record (S, v)” at several [S] and read the Michaelis–Menten and Lineweaver–Burk plots.
What to notice
- At [S] = Km half the enzymes are busy and v = Vmax/2.
- A competitive inhibitor raises Km but leaves Vmax unchanged.
