Free interactive chemistry · SIM-MOLE-001
Mole visualiser
Convert between mass, moles and number of particles, and make solutions of known concentration.
Open the interactive simulation →How to use this simulation
- In “Mole” mode, choose a substance and move the mass slider.
- Read the amount (mol) and number of particles in the “Convert” panel.
- Switch to “Concentration”, pick a solute and set its mass and the solution volume.
- Compare molarity, molality, mole fraction and mass percent.
What to notice
- One mole of anything is 6.022 × 10²³ particles.
- Molarity uses litres of solution; molality uses kg of solvent.
